Elias Limneos releases CallBar X for jailbroken iOS 11 devices

CallBar by iOS developer Elias Limneos was perhaps one of the most popular jailbreak tweaks ever conceived for the iPhone. The tweak replaces iOS’ full-screen incoming call interface with a substantially less intrusive incoming call banner with integrated call options.

Given CallBar’s popularity, it should come off as exciting news that Limneos officially launched CallBar X for iOS 11 in Cydia this week. Following in its predecessor’s footsteps, CallBar X makes the incoming call experience more convenient for those sporting jailbroken iOS 11 devices.

Spice up your iPhone X’s notification alerts with Notchification

The iPhone X’s OLED display and ‘notch’ paved the way for Apple to get creative with incoming notification alerts. But as usual, Apple didn’t go all out; incoming notifications look just about the same on the iPhone X as they do on any other iOS handset.

But a new jailbreak tweak dubbed Notchification by iOS developer c1d3r can change that, as it compliments your iPhone X’s notch and OLED display combo with a bevy of attractive new notification animations that are sure to catch your eye.

Palette lets you colorize your notifications and widgets

If you’re a jailbreaker, then chances are you enjoy standing out from the rest of the crowd. One way you can accomplish this is by changing the look and feel of your iOS device, and a new free jailbreak tweak called Palette by iOS developer Maxwell Dausch can help you do just that.

As the name implies, Palette produces a handful of colorization options for your jailbroken handset. More specifically, it focuses on incoming notifications and widgets, which most people interact with every day.

Filter incoming notifications via keywords and names with DiscreetifyXI

Your iPhone naturally displays short notification previews as you receive them, and while this can be a handy feature in some cases, sometimes notifications show off a little more to the people around us than we might want.

DiscreetifyXI is a new jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Rishanan that mitigates this problem with user-configurable notification filters, and as of this writing, it just might be the best solution available.

iOS 11 introduced a polarizing makeover for notifications on the Lock screen, Notification Center, and throughout the rest of the operating system. Unsurprisingly, not everyone is onboard with the redesign.

Fortunately, you now have the option of rolling back the look and feel of your iPhone or iPad’s incoming notifications with a new free jailbreak tweak called Nine by iOS developer Jake Kaslewicz.

Straw displays a banner notification with every song change

If the iPhone or iPad that you use to listen to your favorite media happens to be jailbroken on iOS 11, then you may want to check out a new free jailbreak tweak called Straw by iOS developer Jake Kaslewicz.

This tweak acts as your own personal song announcer by presenting a banner at the top of your display every time a new track starts playing.

See more incoming notification content at a glance with MoreLinesNotifications

Whenever you receive long text messages or emails, iOS automatically limits the amount of text that displays inside of your incoming notifications. In most cases, this means unlocking your device to read the entire message rather than reading it from the Lock screen notification preview.

A new free jailbreak tweak called MoreLinesNotifications by iOS developer CydiaGeek tries to solve this problem by maximizing the amount of text that each incoming notification displays.
