Martin Hajek

Curved-glass full-on Apple television concept

A report by DisplaySearch may have dashed hopes for an imminent Apple television introduction as Apple turns its attention to wearables, but there's no stopping prolific 3D artist Martin Hajek from imagining what a full-on television set with the Apple logo could/should look like, all over again.

Taking cues from Bloomberg's report which calls for curved-glass iPhones in 2014, Hajek is now seemingly torn between a flat and curved-glass iTV variant. I know which one I'd take in a heartbeat, but how about you?

The inevitable gold Mac Pro concept arrives

The prolific 3D designer Martin Hajek has envisioned a number of interesting Apple concepts, some more successful than the others. A few examples of his more recent work include the iPad mini 2 in gold and blue, the iWatch running Apple Maps and other iWatch renders.

Taking inspiration from a unique red Mac Pro designed by Jony Ive to be auctioned off for charity, Hajek has now produced a set of nice renditions attempting to imagine what Apple's upcoming pro desktop might look like in gold finish...

New concepts depict the iPad mini 2 in gold and blue

Last week, a couple of photos popped up on the web of an alleged next-gen iPad mini with a gold shell. If legit, the leak would seemingly confirm reports that the new tablet will be offered in the same 3 colors as the iPhone 5s.

But as usual, the underground photos didn't do a very good job of showing off the device in its entirety—in fact, you can only see the bottom. But never fear, Martin Hajek has drawn up some concepts to give us all a closer look...

Concept imagines iWatch maps

Renowned 3D artist Martin Hajek today shared a new batch of interesting conceptual renderings that strive to envision how Apple's rumored iWatch might seemingly lend itself to maps, which have long been the killer app category on mobile devices.

Indeed, with power-savvy Bluetooth Smart technology and iOS allegedly powering the device, a smartwatch from the people that brought you the iPhone could theoretically retrieve a user's geographical location by tapping the iPhone's GPS sensor, simply acting as a second screen for turn-by-turn directions...

Martin Hajek’s new concept pictures budget iPhone running revamped iOS 7

The renderings use Hajek's past budget iPhone concepts as the basis for the hardware. As for the software, he incorporated a round of nice concepts by 3D artist Dámaso Benítez, picturing a flattened iOS 7 user interface that Apple's design head Jony Ive and his team are widely believed to be working on.

His mockups, Hajek explains on his personal blog, serve to illustrate "how Apple might introduce the new, cheap iPhone." More awesomeness can be found right past the fold...

Your fresh batch of attractive iWatch renders

I'm a big fan of 3D artist Martin Hajek and his work. In case you're unfamiliar with Hajek, he's the brains behind the often gorgeous renderings of rumored Apple products and is renowned for his 3D modeling skills, as evident in his exquisite renderings. Back in March, Hajek created a more traditional concept of the rumored iWatch for the MacUser magazine.

He's back at it again, having created a fresh batch of alleged Apple smartphone mockups for the April 2013 issue of the magazine...

Precise renderings depict just how bulkier Galaxy S4 is versus iPhone 5

Though Samsung's new Galaxy S4 smartphone has just a slightly larger display compared to its predecessor, the 4.8-inch Galaxy S3, its five-inch screen puts in the phablet category, especially compared side-by-side next to Apple's iPhone 5. Because the device won't launch before end of April, we're currently unable to compare their form factors in person.

Enter Martin Hajek, a 3D artist who made a name for himself with painstakingly rendered mockups of Apple's rumored products. The latest from his kitchen: a fresh batch of precise renderings which give us a good idea how the two devices compare size-wise...

Polycarbonate budget iPhone renderings to die for

Another publication has commissioned Dutch concept artist Martin Hajek to bundle all the less-pricey iPhone rumors together in some plausible renderings. The 3D designer's fresh batch of conceptual renderings imagine the rumored device in two flavors, one with a screen measuring four inches diagonally and the other sporting a larger 4.5-inch display.

Hajek took into account credible talk of the budget iPhone adopting a polycarbonate shell, having combined that rumor with analysts speculating about some vivid colors, too. If you ever though using plastics would ruin the iPhone brand with unwanted and cheap feel to it, have a look at the images and think again...

iWatch concept, the traditional edition

Hot on the heels of releasing a set of renditions depicting what an iPhone 6 with a 4.6-inch screen might look like, 3D artist Martin Hajek is out with a new concept for the iWatch, Apple's rumored iOS-powered smartwatch that has been reportedly cooking in Jony Ive's kitchen for quite a time now.

Unlike a bunch of sci-fi renderings and some pretty radical mockups that couldn't be farther from the real thing (or so we hope, from the bottom of our hearts), Martin's new renderings featured on the April cover of the MacUser magazine employs a more traditional approach to what an everyman's app-enabled wristwatch should look like...

Fresh iPhone 6 mockups call for a 4.6-inch edge-to-edge display

Martin Hajek, a 3D artist well-regarded for his mockups of future gadgets, is back at it again, this time with a fresh batch of renditions depicting what an iPhone 6 with a 4.6-inch screen might look like. He's calling for an edge-to-edge screen assembly - which in his vision looks just stellar - and the aluminum Unibody chassis with anodized black and silver back.

It's kinda like a cross between the iPad's back shell and the iPhone 5's two-tone design. Notice the ultra thin bezels and the lack of the Home button...
