Things are really changing for the better in the jailbreak community since the Yalu iOS 10.0-10.2 jailbreak became stable enough for the public to use. Not only has Cydia been brought out of beta for iOS 10, but Cydia purchases have also been enabled, which means jailbreak tweak developers can now host their paid tweaks for the iOS 10 jailbreak.

Since this week has been pretty busy, we'll be rounding up all the tweaks that were released throughout the week and putting them into a neat little list for you. We'll start with our favorites first, then move on to the rest later.

DisplayWeather 10 puts weather info at the top of the Notification Center and Lock screen widget pages

While the Lock screen and Notification Center have each become much more functional and informative in some of the latest versions iOS, it’s still possible to improve on them, and jailbreak developers are taking note of this.

A new free jailbreak tweak called DisplayWeather 10 by pxcex puts your weather information to the left of the date information in each of these interfaces, letting you dedicate the space that would normally be taken up by the weather widget to other widgets instead.

FingerTouch lets you assign gestures to the Touch ID sensor

Lots of jailbroken iPhone owners will tell you that it’s never a bad idea to have more gestures. After all, that’s the whole basis behind the popular Activator extension, which gives you more ways to interact with your device to perform actions.

A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed FingerTouch by Michele Primavera, on the other hand, makes use of the same Touch ID sensor that you use every single day to unlock your device and make App Store purchases to create even more gestures.

Those of you who have jailbroken in recent times, with either yalu1011, yalu102, Home Depot, or Pangu 9.2-9.3.3, can't have failed to notice a new feature of these tools which jailbreakers never had to contend with before.

I'm not referring to the semi-untether here, but rather to the installing of a profile on your device which signs the jailbreak app for a certain amount of time. iOS 10 jailbreakers particularly have felt the irritation of this limitation, but all that may be about to change, based on some tentative words from Cydia creator Jay Freeman (Saurik).

At the same time, other workarounds for the seven-day signing limit have started surfacing; these are almost all a bad idea, and should be avoided.

HapticKeyboard enables haptic feedback as you type on your iPhone

As the name suggests, this tweak enables haptic feedback as you type on your keyboard on your iPhone.

This app keeps track of when your iOS 10 jailbreak certificate will expire

The Yalu jailbreak, just like the Pangu jailbreak before it, relies on certificates that have expiration dates. You have to re-sign the jailbreak with Cydia Impactor past the expiration date to keep your jailbroken state.
