These are the latest jailbreak apps and tweaks available for your iPhone or iPad. We save you time by highlighting only the best tweaks.

How to add an old school combination lock to the iOS Lock screen

Combination Lock, a brand new jailbreak tweak that just recently touched down on Cydia, makes me feel a bit nostalgic. It takes me back to my high school days when I used to use a combination lock for my school locker. It's been so long since I've used one of those locks, but this new jailbreak tweak resuscitates the experience.

If you're looking to add a little flair to the iOS Lock screen, then you should take Combination Lock for a spin (pun intended). Have a look at our video walkthrough to see what I mean.

GroupMe separates regular Messages app conversations from group conversations

Do you find your Messages app to be too cluttered? Perhaps it's the mix of group messages combined with normal one-on-one messages that make sit feel that way.

GroupMe is a new jailbreak tweak that can go a long ways towards decluttering the Messages app. It separates group messages from regular messages using tabs at the bottom of the Messages app interface. Watch our video walkthrough for a thorough explanation.

Tweaks of the week: Aspectus, Echo, PullBulletin, and more

Recently, we've been busy dreaming up the possible jailbreak tweaks for Apple Watch and discussing the topic on Let's Talk Jailbreak, and to be honest, we kind of lost sight of the tweaks for iOS lately. Hopefully we can rectify this as the Apple Watch hype goes down. In the meantime, we listed all the tweaks that were released on Cydia this past week. There aren't many of them, but we do have a couple interesting ones.

Andrios: an Android-inspired experience for iOS

Andrios has been a hot topic for jailbreakers as of late. The upcoming tweak, which should be touching down any second now on Cydia, brings many Android-inspired features to iOS.

The developers of Andrios, BrandDev & Logan O'Connell, have worked hard to make the tweak's tag line live up to the final product. Does it succeed in doing so?

10 most wanted Apple Watch jailbreak tweaks

It officially launched less than a week ago, but many people are already thinking about jailbreaking the Apple Watch. I've seen prominent hackers and developers talk about jailbreaking Apple's new wearable device, and I've heard it mentioned several times on some prominent podcasts.

The question is, why are so many people interested in jailbreaking Apple's new hardware? The answer is mixed, but there are lots of similarities to iPhone OS and the early iPhone hardware. When the iPhone first launched back in 2007, it was severely limited. You couldn't copy and paste, you couldn't have custom wallpaper, there was no App Store, etc. Jailbreaking eventually allowed early users to do all of those things.

Similar to the early iPhone software, Watch OS 1.0 won't allow users to do things like use custom watch faces, or run native apps. Jailbreaking could, in theory, allow for both of these features. But that's not all. Jailbreaking Watch OS opens up a whole new realm of possibilities.

Tweaks of the week: Doorman, Gauss, NetflixSleepTimer, and more

If there is one thing we'll remember from this past week, it's probably not the amount of tweaks that were released, but more likely the launch of Apple Watch, which by the way, has so much potential for a jailbreak, but it's an entirely different discussion.

Not much was released on Cydia this week, but there are still some pretty interesting tweaks. Take a look!

iSwitch makes the App Switcher card interface transparent

The premise of iSwitch may sound a little goofy at first, but after using the tweak, I was a left with a much better impression about the overall idea than when I started. iSwitch is a tweak that makes the App Switcher cards transparent, but it goes further than that. Not only are the cards transparent, but the interface, including the app icons that normally rest beneath the cards, are displayed on top of the currently running app.

The end result is an App Switcher that can be manipulated on top of an open app. This means that you could be browsing Safari, invoke the App Switcher while Safari is still open and usable, and switch to an app of your liking. It’s not without its downsides, but iSwitch is much cooler than I initially expected. Watch our video preview to see how.

How to hide the battery percent sign in the iOS status bar

I find it to be kind of odd, but some people really hate the percent sign that appears alongside the battery indicator in the iOS status bar. Our very own Sebastien Page is one such person.

Over the last few months, he's been lamenting about his disdain for the percent sign, and how he hasn't been able to find a jailbreak tweak that lets him remove the pesky little symbol. Many tweaks, like Springtomize, can customize the iOS status bar to a high degree, but the percent sign seems to be off limits.

Fortunately, there is a jailbreak tweak that can hide the percent sign, and it's been sitting under our noses for quite some time. The aptly entitled No percent sign is a jailbreak tweak that lets you easily hide the percent sign symbol on iOS.
