Following the release of iTunes 11.1.6 and OS X 10.9.3 betas to developers and AppleCare employees earlier this month, Apple on Friday seeded another OS X 10.9.3 beta to developers.

Now available in Dev Center for registered Mac developers, a new version (build 13D28) of what would become Apple's third major software update to its desktop operating system focuses on further refinements to Graphics Drivers, Safari, Audio and Contacts and Calendar sync over USB in iTunes...

Apple has seeded the second OS X 10.9.3 to registered Mac developers this afternoon. The release comes one week after Apple released the first beta of 10.9.3, which added enhanced 4K display support.

The new beta build is available to registered Mac developers through the Software Update tab in the Mac App Store, or as a complete download via the Mac section of Apple’s online developer portal…

Facebook testing new ‘Highlights’ summary feature on iOS

Over the weekend, Facebook posted a tiny 7.0 update for its iOS app with a change log that simply read 'bug fixes.' But as it turns out, the update was more significant than that as it activated a feature the company is testing on iOS right now called Highlights.

The feature is currently available to a subset of iOS users, in a new 'People' tab that is also in testing (replaces the Requests tab), and it offers a roundup of recent life events from your friends and family. Annoying UpWorthy posts and meme pics not included...

More evasi0n7 exploits patched in iOS 7.1 beta 5

Shortly after iOS 7.1 beta 4 was released, we learned that the update patched a key kernel exploit used in the evasi0n7 jailbreak. And today we've received word that beta 5, which was seeded to developers earlier this afternoon, patches 2 other exploits.

Developer and hacker iH8sn0w tweeted out a few moments ago that Apple has fixed the 'chown' vulnerability and 'afc sandbox escape' used by the evad3r's popular jailbreak utility in beta 5. So it looks like iOS 7.1 will indeed be the death of the iOS 7 JB...

Blizzard’s upcoming Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft has entered open beta, download now

Games maker Blizzard Entertainment, currently a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, has just posted a downloadable beta of its upcoming Warcraft-themed free-to-play strategy card game, titled Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. It's been in closed beta since August of last year.

The open beta is now available to Mac and Windows users in North America through the Blizzard website. The game is about  lively duels that "evoke the spirit of a friendly match played beside a crackling tavern fire"...
