Redmi is a sub-brand owned by Xiaomi and primarily sells low- to mid-range smartphones in emerging Asian, Latin American, and European markets.
Note 17 Pro is a new model released in July 2026 that has a 120Hz 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 3500 nits of peak brightness. The phone is IP68/IP69K dust-tight and water-resistant, offering peace of mind. It also has a massive 9000mAh battery and supports up to 67W of fast charging.
Redmi Note 17 Pro is powered by a 4-nanometer Qualcomm SM6435-AA Snapdragon 6s Gen processor. The base model comes with 128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM. Then there are 256 GB and 512 GB versions with the same amount of RAM. Surprisingly, sites like GSMArena and 91Mobiles also report a 256 GB version but with 12 GB of RAM. At first glance, this appears to be an anomaly, as the 512 GB still has the limited 8 GB of RAM. Do your due diligence when purchasing.
