Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve likely heard about Apple’s upcoming iOS 13 for iPhone and iPod touch (iPad gets its own new operating system dubbed iPadOS), which implements native dark mode and a plethora of other jaw-dropping features that users have been requesting from Apple for quite some time. On the other hand, the oldest handsets it supports out of the box are the iPhone SE, 6s, and 6s Plus.
In a seemingly unbelievable turn of events, however, an Apple device tinkerer with the Twitter handle @NighttigerFTW has purportedly managed to get the first iOS 13 beta running on an iPhone 6 with minimal tweaking. The full details below:

Apple continues to move ahead with developer betas for the next big update to iOS. Apple will launch iOS 12.4 to the public at some point in the future, but preparation for that launch is not quite finished.
Just yesterday, talented security researcher and iPhone hacker iBSparkes teased what appeared to be Saurik’s Cydia package manager running on an iPhone SE with iOS 12.4 installed on it, which was a particularly noteworthy feat given that all public jailbreak tools at the time of this writing only support up to iOS 12.1.2.
The teaser raised several questions, such as whether iBSparkes’ latest exploit would also support Apple’s upcoming iOS 13 software update. Fortunately, we might now have an answer to that question, as iBSparkes shared another teaser just this morning of Cydia running on an iPhone 8 (iPhone 10,4) running the first iOS 13 beta:
Each of the latest jailbreak solutions, be it the Electra Team’s Chimera tool or Pwn20wnd’s unc0ver tool, only support iOS versions 12.0-12.1.2. That said, a teaser shared just this morning by talented security researcher iBSparkes tends to be particularly exciting.

Apple launched the first developer beta of iOS 13 just this afternoon after the WWDC 2019 Keynote presentation came to an end, and despite how new this beta software is, talented security researchers are already findings ways to crack it.
In a Tweet shared just this evening, @iBSparkes flexed his l33t hacking skills by sharing what appears to be a demonstration of an undisclosed 0day vulnerability:
As promised, Apple has released the first betas of all of the platform updates it announced at its WWDC keynote earlier today. This includes iOS 13, tvOS 13, watchOS 6 and macOS 10.15. Registered developers can grab the betas from Apple's Dev Center.
It's been in beta for what seems an eternity, but the pace of development seems to be picking up of late and the most recent builds have brought some major updates, including cloud syncing and NES support. Now Delta, the successor app to GBA4iOS, has reached Beta 8.
