iOS 11 is now installed on 81% of Apple's over a billion active iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices in the wild, up from the 76% adoption rate reported on April 25. By contrast, Android Oreo versions powered less than six percent of active Android-driven smartphones and tablets that had been accessing Google's Play Store during a seven-day period ending on May 7, 2018.
Apple on Monday unveiled the next major software update for its iPhones and iPads: iOS 12. The update brings about a number of new features and improvements, including faster performance, group FaceTime calling with up to 32 people, tons of new stuff for AR and Animoji, and much more.

Apple unveiled a new Mac App Store in macOS Mojave. The update, the first for the MAS since it was first launched, should be more useful to use. A lot of the features are coming over from the iOS App Store.
The new store offers a Ratings and Reviews API for Mac apps. There's also a Create tab, as well as video previews. Apple also announced that Microsoft Office 360 would be coming to the MAS this year.
In addition to the various new features and improvements introduced in macOS Mojave, Apple is also using the update to bring a bunch of its stock apps to the Mac. This includes Apple News, Stocks, Voice Memos, and the Home app.
Aside from sharing a bunch of exciting new features designed for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, Apple during today's WWDC 2018 keynote talk also spent some time talking about the latest Apple TV features afforded by the upcoming tvOS 12 software.
