9to5mac is out with a report on Tuesday detailing how Apple Store employees will help customers select the right Apple Watch for their lifestyle, when it becomes available to purchase on April 24. The publication, often providing some of the best Apple scoops, details that retail employees will initiate conversations to build trust, enabling the employee to essentially take the place as a fashion advisor during the purchase process, rather than pushing a new consumer electronic.

Apple reportedly having issues making Apple Watch’s screen

Apple is having issues manufacturing the 1.5-inch AMOLED screen for the Apple Watch, and as a result, has cut initial production and shipment targets in half, according to UDN Mobile.

Citing sources in Apple's supply chain, the Taiwanese publication says Apple has cut shipments from between 2.5 to 3 million units to between 1.25 and 1.5 million units.

I wish I could just use it to wake me up, but it needs to be plugged in at night, at least for a couple hours. I'm hoping next year's model will have better battery life.

ABC News has been given an unprecedented, exclusive look at Apple's top-secret lab inside its Cupertino headquarters which the company has been using for testing health, fitness and movement tracking features of the Apple Watch.

The broadcaster has now released a short video which offers a rare glimpse into the facility. Jay Blahnik, the key Nike FuleBand developer whom the iPhone maker hired more than two years ago to help develop the Apple Watch's fitness features, can be seen in the video discussing the purpose of the lab with ABC's Rebecca Jarvis.

Inexpensive Apple Watch band adapter Adappt launches on Indiegogo

With April's launch of the Apple Watch on the horizon, we're starting to see first adapters designed to let Watch wearers use their device with third-party watch bands, not just Apple's.

Advertised as the first and patent pending adapter for standard straps for the Apple Watch, the Adappt by four Italian students, two of which are behind the inCharge, a tiny keyring USB charging cable, has now launched on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo.

The Adappt lets you wear your Apple Watch with any band. But don't let this quite simple idea fool you, the Adappt is quite ingenious.

When Apple announced the Apple Watch, I knew I wanted one. In fact, when Motorola announced the Moto 360, I wanted one of those too. If it had been compatible with iOS without any tricks or hacks, then I might have even bought one. It's probably safe to say that the idea of a smartwatch appeals to me greatly.

But since the announcement of pricing for the Apple Watch I have found myself in conversation with more than a few people who just don't seem to get why the Apple Watch is so exciting to some of us. It's expensive, they say. It doesn't do anything that your iPhone doesn't do, they point out. You just don't need it.

TAG Heuer teams up with Google and Intel to produce luxury smartwatch

Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer, a luxury watch brand owned by LVMH, announced today that it's partnering with Google and Intel to create a smartwatch. TAG will design the device, Intel will supply the microprocessor, and Google of course will handle the software with Android Wear.

In his announcement, quoted by Bloomberg, at the Baselworld watch expo today, LVMH's Jean-Claude Biver said this was his "biggest announcement ever" in his 40 years of working in the industry. He believes that the device will go on to be the "greatest connected watch" on the market.
