Get a better battery level indicator on your iPhone X with Bazzi

If you’re looking to get more out of the battery indicator on your jailbroken iPhone X, then we’d recommend checking out a new jailbreak tweak dubbed Bazzi by iOS developer NeinZedd9.

Unlike the traditional battery level indicator in the iPhone X’s notched Status Bar, Bazzi aims to provide users with more information at a glance by displaying the battery level percentage within the battery level indicator itself. This ultimately lets you avoid having to open Control Center to see the numeric percentage.

Jailbreak Tweaks to check out

We're starting to see more iOS 11-oriented jailbreak tweak releases as time goes by. Many of those have are exclusive to the iPhone X, but some still work on Apple’s other handsets.

In this roundup, we’ll talk about every new jailbreak tweak released in Cydia throughout the past week. As usual, we’ll kick things off by showcasing our favorite releases and then wrap everything up by outlining the rest afterward.

BatteryBar gives your iPhone an entirely new battery level indicator

The way iOS displays your current battery level has been approximately the same since the first iteration of the mobile operating system; albeit with a few minor changes present in some of the most significant updates over the years.

For anyone interested in a fresh take on iOS’ battery level indicator, a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed BatteryBar by iOS developer DGh0st may grab some attention.

Last chance to restore your device to iOS 11.1.2 with futurerestore!

Update: iOS 11.2.6 is now unsigned. You can no longer use futurerestore to restore any device to any firmware below iOS 11.3. Do not attempt the restores mentioned in this article.

With the official release of iOS 11.3, the clock is ticking on iOS 11.2.6 signing. Normally this wouldn't mean much to jailbreakers, who would be staying on a lower jailbroken firmware. This time however, it's different. Many users on iOS 9 and 10 jailbreaks are waiting to see how the iOS 11 tools turn out before making the jump. So far, iOS 11.2-11.2.6 have maintained SEP and baseband compatibility with iOS 11.0-11.1.2 (the last jailbreakable firmwares), which allowed users to make the jump at any point, or wait it out a little longer.

This tweak hides the notch on the iPhone X

While many iPhone X users have embraced the handset’s distinct notch, there are still tons of people who just can’t seem to get over it.

If you’re one of the latter and your iPhone X is jailbroken, then a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed noNotch by iOS developer Jake James might be worth checking out.

RealCC improves Control Center’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi toggles

Control Center’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi toggles don’t entirely disable their corresponding wireless radios on iOS 11, but instead limit their capabilities such that system processes like AirDrop and Instant Hotspot, among others, continue working.

If you wish that iOS 11’s Control Center-based Bluetooth and Wi-Fi toggles worked as you’d expect them to, then you might be interested in a new free jailbreak tweak called RealCC by iOS developer Jake James.

This tweak lets you colorize iOS 11’s Control Center modules

One of the most significant changes to ship with iOS 11 was the redesigned modular Control Center interface. But despite everything Apple did to make Control Center more customizable, it still lacks color-based personalization.

A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed ColorMyCCModules by iOS developer iKilledAppl3 fills this void by providing users with a way to colorize Control Center’s various modules.

HomeBarSizer lets you resize the iPhone X’s Home Bar

Since the public release of the Electra jailbreak for iOS 11, we’ve seen a bevy of jailbreak tweaks explicitly designed for the iPhone X. Some of the most recent ones focus on the handset’s Home Bar – the bar at the bottom of the screen that you use to close apps, multitask, etc.

A new free release dubbed HomeBarSizer by iOS developer Kiran Patil is no different. As the name suggests, it will let you customize both the size and appearance of your iPhone X’s Home Bar so you can achieve the look and feel you desire.
