We just told you how Apple has been hard at work getting Apple Pay into more public transit systems and now a new report outlines how customers in Switzerland can purchase a bus ticket with a dedicated Apple Watch app that's integrated with Apple Pay. Swiss website Cominmag reports that the app in question, FAIRTIQ, files as the world's first app to bring the ticket vending machine on the Apple Watch.

Apple Watch banned from UK government cabinet meetings over spying concerns

British newspaper The Telegraph reported yesterday that the Apple Watch has been banned from government cabinet meetings after ministers warned wearable devices could be vulnerable to hacking by state-sponsored spies. Smartphones, too, have been barred from cabinet meetings because of similar concerns, with one source saying that “the Russians are trying to hack everything.”

More people are interested in buying AirPods than Apple Watch Series 2

According to a new survey of more than a thousand customers in the United States, conducted by Bank of America Merrill Lynch and cited in today's BusinessInsider article, a whopping twelve percent of respondents are interested in buying Apple's $159 wireless AirPods earbuds when they go on sale next month, resulting in an incremental $3 billion in revenue.

In fact, more respondents said they planned to purchase the AirPods than the new Apple Watch Series 2 (eight percent).
