All New Designs for Every Single Model of iPods [See Them Here]
Steve Jobs just announced that every iPod single model of iPods have gotten a redesign. Starting with the iPod Shuffle, let's have a look at these new iPods...
Steve Jobs just announced at Apple's Special Event that the company will be releasing iOS 4.1 today. As expected, this update will fix bugs, but it will also add new exciting features...
Are you confused by the title of this post? Yeah, me too, but I couldn't figure out how to clearly say what I wanted it to say. Anyways, now that I've got your attention, I want to talk to you about a new jailbreak app called Remove Background.
You might remember the Remove Background SBSettings Toggle we showed you a couple weeks ago. The Remove Background app works hand in hand with it.
Yesterday we told you that Apple will be streaming their special event live but unfortunately, not all systems are supported. For example, if you are on Windows, you cannot watch the event.
There is always a workaround for everything though. Mac Rumors figured out a way to bypass the restrictions and play the video on any platform.
Depending on how you charge your iPhone you may or may not regularly backup your photos. Having to perform a hard reset could erase priceless pictures if you happen to charge your phone the old fashioned way via wall connector.
That problem is now gone thanks to an article by LifeHacker that shows you how to wirelessly sync your photos. The only catch is that you'll need a jailbroken iPhone, which shouldn't be an issue for most of you...
I'll warn you ahead of time, this is a ridiculous piece of news. The folks over at Target have come up with a plan that will allow you to trade in your iPhone or iPod Touch to receive your very own gift card with the amount you're granted in return.
So how much can you expect to get for your respective iDevice you ask? CNET says supported stores will issue you a card that ranges from "a couple dollars" to $200 in value...
As you might know by now, Apple is holding a special event tomorrow, where the firm will presumably unveil new iPods and more. For the first time, Apple will be streaming the event live. Sounds great, right? Well, the downside is that you need a Mac or an iOS device to watch the event:
iDB reported about the iPhone 4 arriving in Mexico last week. Today Mac Rumors posted an article claiming an executive from Telcel, the mexican iPhone carrier, says the iPhone 4 will be getting a hardware revision once the free case promotion runs out.
Marco Quatorze comments that the policy of giving away free cases will be implemented the same to the rest of the countries selling the iPhone 4. Following September 30th (the date Steve Jobs said Apple would reevaluate the issue) the hardware would be changed to resolve the antenna discrepancies. A bold assumption to say the least...
Like many people, I was happy with the release of iOS4. It introduced rotation lock, an awesome feature that locks the rotation of your screen in portrait. Unfortunately, this new rotation lock feature is a little less awesome because it only supports portrait mode.
The good news is there's a brand new application in the Cydia Store that changes the default behavior to include landscape support, Landscape Rotation Lock.
It took 3 years for someone to create the perfect case for iPhone. One that would protect your iPhone and quench your thirst. A case so simple and obvious that it got me saying out loud "why didn't I think about that"?
Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to the iBottleOpener, a little marvel of engineering and technology that will bring "a party in your pocket". Forget normal bottle openers, they are so 2009! For $19.95 you can get yourself an iBottleOpener that will sure be getting you some attention.
The big letdown is that it's only available for iPhone 3G and 3GS so far, but it's apparently coming to the iPhone 4 soon.
You know you want it.

Unless you've been underneath a rock for a few weeks you're aware that Apple will be holding their annual September event this Wednesday. With such an event so close, you can pretty much find a rumor for any wild idea you could think of. We figured here at iDB we'd toss around some ideas and let you add your own.
I'll start with the casualties:
You might have noticed there's been quite a few new jailbreak apps that were released during the last weeks. While some of them are not much interesting, a number of them got my attention and have the potential to making in on our list of best jailbreak apps for iPhone.
In this post, I'll share with you 10 jailbreak applications available in Cydia that are worth downloading. If you haven't checked them out yet, I suggest you have a look at them:
