Snugg’s iPhone 6s leather pouch looks good while protecting

Recently, a friend of mine pulled this slim leather pouch out of his pocket. I didn't know what it was, but I knew I liked the way it looked. Turns out, it was a case for his iPhone 6s.

Snugg's Leather Pouch has that "wow factor" that protects your iPhone 6s, while looking pretty dang hip when you take it out of your pocket. It's slim and sleek and has a soft lining to "hug" your smartphone.

The pouch is made from bi-cast leather so it looks good, but is easier to keep clean. The interior is made from soft Nubuck leather for additional protection for the iPhone's screen.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens iPhone wallpapers

The week is finally arrived. This Friday, December 18, Star Wars: The Force Awakens will hit theaters. With more than $500M in ticket presales, the next installment in the Star Wars saga is prepared to shatter box office records, making it one of the most highly anticipated films in history.

It comes as no surprise the film is so popular, given the smashing success of the franchise since the 1970's. Now with Disney's backing, it is impossible to go anywhere, see anything, or watch TV without being pummeled by advertising. To ensure your entire life is Star Wars: The Force Awakens, download your favorite iPhone wallpapers from our collection.

Tweaks of the week: Flash, SearchDelete, and more

We haven't seen that many tweaks released in a single week in recent memory, and that's a good thing. It means the jailbreak community is still vibrant and involved.

If you've been waiting for that groundbreaking tweak, well, I'm sorry to say you'll have to wait a little longer. However, if you're looking for smaller tweaks to enhance the iOS experience, we have about 30 of them here that you should check out.

Review: Auxo 3 for iOS 9

Auxo 3 for iOS 9 is, as we stated in our previous release post, is a brand new jailbreak package for iOS 9. Although the tweak shares a lot of similarities with the previous version of Auxo 3 for iOS 8, this package has been rebuilt completely from the ground up with iOS 9 in mind.

A lot of people are ragging on A3tweaks for charging an upgrade price for the iOS 9 release, and while I can understand that frustration, you also have to try to see it from the shoes of the developer behind the project. This wasn't a matter of changing a few lines of code and shipping an update in an effort to nickel and dime customers. No, considerable effort had to be exerted to make Auxo 3 for iOS 9 work, hence the delay in providing an update.

Granted, that may not be enough solace for previous Auxo 3 customers, especially when you consider that one of the tweak's pillar features is unstable and buggy. Watch our video review inside for more details.

How to add Mario-inspired notification sounds to iOS

If you're rocking a jailbroken iPhone and you like Mario, then a newly released jailbreak tweak is sure to be right up your alley. 1UP is a brand new tweak that alters the sound of Message notifications to that of the classic Mario coin sound found in Nintendo's storied gaming franchise.

The real treat of the tweak, and the inspiration behind the name, comes from when you reach a preset threshold of notifications. By default, once you receive 10 notifications for the Messages app, you'll hear the special "1UP" sound instead of the typical coin notification.

1UP is a great tweak to have if your heart strings are easily pulled by video game nostalgia. Best of all, it's available free of charge on Cydia' ModMyi repo.

How to control your Mac with the Siri Remote

Better Touch Tool, one of the most useful power-user utilities available for macOS has been updated to include support for Siri Remote control. The update, which is currently available as an alpha version download, lets you control your mouse with the Siri Remote, as well as assign shortcuts and mouse clicks to the Touch Surface and each of the remote's buttons.

How to jump directly to a specific folder with Activator

FolderJumper is a new jailbreak tweak that lets your instantly access a SpringBoard folder by using an Activator gesture. If you have groups of specific apps placed within a folder that you frequently access, then FolderJumper, a $1.99 tweak available on Cydia's BigBoss repo, can make accessing those apps easier.

Activator 1.9.8 beta 1 released

Ryan Petrich has released a brand new update to Activator on his popular beta repo. The update, which brings Activator to version 1.9.8 beta 1, adds several new features and improvements to the staple jailbreak tweak. The update brings improved scrolling in the tweak's preference panel, a clear app switcher action, and other handy new features.

iDB holiday gift guide: Sébastien’s picks

If you're anything like me, coming up with gift ideas for your loved ones can be a difficult task that happens to also be time consuming. That's why every year, iDB Editors come up with a list of what they think would make great gifts for the techies and non-techies alike in your life, hoping it will help you find something for that special person.

This year, I have tried to stay on a budget, and although there are a couple big ticket items in my list, most of them are very affordable. After all, it isn't the size or price of the gift that matters, but the size of the heart that gives it.

Remote, Pixbrite, Call Recorder, and more apps to check out this weekend

Since the release of Apple TV 4, I've struggled with some important features that were glaringly absent from the set-top box. This week, however, Apple made it easier to control ATV4 with support for the Remote app for iPhone and Apple Watch. Plus, now that the App Store is noting when an app is available on Apple TV, it is even easier to find new content.

If you are looking for new content, whether for Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, we've got a list of apps and games we think are worth spotlighting.

Auxo 3 released for iOS 9

Auxo 3 has been released for iOS 9 as a brand new package. The popular multitasking tweak has been rewritten for iOS 9, and as such, A3tweaks has pushed it as a separate package and not a direct upgrade from the previous version of Auxo 3.

The good news is that upgrade pricing applies, so if you purchased previous versions of Auxo, you get a discount. Previous Auxo 3 users get Auxo 3 for iOS 9 for only $0.99. If you purchased Auxo 2 in the past, then Auxo 3 for iOS 9 is $1.99 instead of $2.99.

Music Agent adds shuffle and repeat controls to Control Center and Lock screen music controls

I find it weird that there's no native shuffle or repeat options for music playback to be found in Control Center, but here we are, deep into the feature's existence with no such options to be found.

The same thing can be said about the Lock screen music controls as well. Maybe I'm in the minority when it comes to wishing for these two features, but I use the repeat and shuffle options constantly within the actual Music app. It would be so much more convenient for me to have such buttons readily available within Control Center and from the Lock screen.

For jailbreakers, a new $0.99 jailbreak tweak called Music Agent brings both of these features to iOS. If you're a big fan of the shuffle and repeat music controls, then you'll definitely want to check out this new tweak.
