On September 12, 2017, Apple unveiled an essential upgrade from the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus that the company dubs the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
The two new handsets bring hardware and cosmetic upgrades to the current iPhone lineup. An all-glass front and rear that are reminiscent of the days of the iPhone 4/4s are standard in all three colors. The new Apple TV 4K will go up for preorder on September 15th, and will be released the following Friday, September 22nd. While there are other small features, the biggest additions is 4K, HDR, and Dolby Vision support.
