On September 12, 2017, Apple unveiled an essential upgrade from the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus that the company dubs the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

The two new handsets bring hardware and cosmetic upgrades to the current iPhone lineup. An all-glass front and rear that are reminiscent of the days of the iPhone 4/4s are standard in all three colors. Apart from that, the bodies look and feel a lot like the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus you might already use, but with a few minor tweaks.

While the iPhone X stole the show at today's event, Apple also unveiled cheaper new handsets in the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. They too feature some nice upgrades from their predecessors, including wireless charging and the new A11 processor.

Apple TV 4K price and availability

The new Apple TV 4K will go up for preorder on September 15th, and will be released the following Friday, September 22nd. While there are other small features, the biggest additions is 4K, HDR, and Dolby Vision support.

Apple's next-generation iPhone X is packed full of advanced features like Face ID and an edge-to-edge OLED Super Retina display, and it can be yours for as little as $999. Yes as the rumors predicted, the handset's starting price tag comes in at just under $1,000. That's for the 64GB version, there is also a 256GB version that will set you back $1,149.

Your only color choices will be silver and space gray, and you'll be able to pre-order the iPhone X beginning October 27. The handset will actually be in stores on November third. Here is a list of the countries where will be initially available:
