The 2026 football (soccer) World Cup is scheduled to kick off on June 11, with Mexico facing South Africa at Estadio Azteca stadium in Mexico City. And the grand final will be played on 19th July at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The 2026 edition features 48 teams (up from 32 in the 2022 edition) and is the first FIFA World Cup to have three host nations: the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
48 teams are divided into 12 groups (A to L), with each group containing 4 teams. The United States is in Group D, along with Paraguay, Australia, and Turkey.

Add the 2026 FIFA World Cup schedule to your Apple calendar
1) Visit this FIFA World Cup 2026 games calendar link in Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. We’re using an iPhone for these steps. And once the events are added to your iPhone, they will also appear on your Apple Watch.
2) Tap the Apple iCal option.
3) Tap Find and wait a second.
