Learn more about business apps on your iPhone or iPad and check out the quick steps to delete them from your iOS device.

I recently came across a question where a user asked about deleting business apps.
Now, Apple allows app developers to categorize their apps in a ‘Business’ category. This category is for apps that help run a business or provide tools for collaboration, editing, or sharing content. It includes document management (PDFs, scanning, file viewing, and editing), VoIP telephony, dictation, remote desktop access, job search resources, customer resource management, collaboration, enterprise resource planning, point of sale, and such apps.
As you can see, the business category is broad and fits a ton of applications.
Secondly, you can go to the Apps tab of the iPhone App Store and then swipe across the category list at the top to access the Business apps.
You can even view them in a browser here: Top Charts (Business) free and paid apps
That said, the iOS App Library doesn’t have a category for business apps. As a result, you can’t view all your installed business apps in one spot and delete them quickly.
So, unless you’re a pro at management and have put all your work apps in an app folder or a particular Home Screen page, you must manually identify your business apps and delete them one by one.
One easy way to view all apps (business or otherwise) and delete them with one less tap is to go to the App Library, swipe down to view apps alphabetically, and then touch & hold the app icon (not the app name) to delete it.
If you have a managed iPhone or iPad, then you may not be able to delete certain apps that are deemed necessary by your company or organization. If you need to remove such apps, contact your company’s administrative department for assistance. Similarly, if your organization or business uses Apple solutions for work (apple.com/business/), contact the relevant admin for help on managing your iPhone or iPad.
