With the advent of iOS 26 and new design language permeating iPhone UI, many opinions are flooding social media. The updated experience is even more controversial than the first overhaul with iOS 7, which switched away from skeuomorphism. Personally, I am a fan of Liquid Glass in iOS 26 and the ability to control more of the Lock Screen clock widget experience. As a result, Lock Screen wallpapers are having a moment in the community. These iOS 26 Lock Screen framed clock wallpapers allow you to customize the font size to fit into a tailored window.
Framed clock wallpapers for iOS 26 Lock Screen
The following collection of framed clock wallpapers create a backdrop onto which the new iOS 26 clock can be scaled to fit. A myriad of different options give you a creative way to scale the Lock Screen lock into an assortment of designs. Today, we are featuring digital artists @just_unique0, @pulaxki, and @moondr1.
Of the collection, my favorite two are listed up top. First, a gradient green is layered with a Liquid Glass inspired orb that emits a golden light in between. Second, a dripping glassy texture is layered on top of a swirling blue gradient to make a complex, iOS 26 Lock Screen.
To influence the collection you can catch up with me via @jim_gresham on X or @jim_gresham@mastodon.social, where I curate the gallery. If you have a set of favorite backgrounds or know a great repo that stores a library of images, shoot them my way. Follow along for mid-week downloads, sneak peaks, and general Apple banter, most recently about my experience with iPhone Air.
