Helium gets major update with tons of new features and improvements

You may recall nearing the end of 2023 when iOS developer LeminLimez released an add-on called Helium for customizing the Status Bar on both TrollStore-enabled and jailbroken devices.

Helium v3.2.5 update.

Helium has received a plethora of updates since its initial release, and just this week, LeminLimez took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the new Helium v3.2.5 with a “whole host of new features.”

Citing the change log for v3.2.5 published on the Helium GitHub page, we can gather that this update introduces the following new features:

– Landscape mode now works properly
– Massive improvements to the adaptive color functionality
– Choosing the text font
– Option for italic text
– Update interval can be controlled for each widget
– New weather widget (must set your own API key)
– Enabling and disabling widget sets
– HUD now updates widget sets without having to restart the HUD
– Option for a debug border around the widgets
– Date locale fixes for Chinese users
– Chinese translation
– A whole lot of other improvements/fixes

As you can see for yourself, the latest version of Helium now gives users a more complete experience by enabling landscape orientation, improving colors, and a bevy of other improvements.

If you’re an existing Helium user, then you should obviously update to take advantage. If you’re not, then you can head over to the project’s GitHub page to see more.
