You’ve heard a lot about Misaka and Picasso both picking up installation methods for TrollStore 2, but did you know that even the PureKFD package manager app has incorporated a way to install TrollStore 2?
Indeed, as shared in the project’s Discord server this week, project lead developer @Lrdsnow said that, albeit buggy, an experimental TrollStore 2 installer has been added to PureKFD that supports iOS versions 16.2 through 16.6 beta 1 on arm64e (A12+) devices.
Lrdsnow was particularly careful to advise that this doesn’t yet work on iPads and that the reliability of this installation method leaves a lot to be desired.
Still, the steps to move forward with the installation through PureKFD are as follows per the Discord server:
How to use:
– Install Trips from the App Store
– Go into the Developer tab in PureKFD
– Tap App Manager and wait for it to finish loading
– Back out of the tab
– Close the app
– Open the Tips appPROBLEMS? READ THESE VERY CAREFULLY:
– If it doesn’t show the TrollStore Helper, try again from step 1
– If you get error 1 OR the Trips app crashes, then reinstall the Tips app and try again from step 1
PureKFD is a kfd exploit-based customization app and package manager that provides users with the ability to trick out their iPhone or iPad without a jailbreak. The installation method being used here appears to be heavily reliant on the kfd exploit, and so it only works on certain versions of iOS 16.

Please just be advised that the method is still highly experimental and isn’t reliable by any means.
