Give your passcode & phone dial pad buttons an attractive gradient with this MacDirtyCow & kfd add-on

How would you like to have something nicer to look at every time you enter your iPhone passcode or dial a phone number in the Phone app?

Gradient for passcode and Phone app dial pad.

That’s the concept behind a new add-on called Gradient Passcode & Phone by iOS developers EPOS and Z3ROS1Xfor the MacDirtyCow and kfd exploits, which as you can see in the screenshot examples above, lets users apply a gradient to the buttons in the passcode and phone dialer interfaces.

In doing so, the text within those buttons, namely the numbers, display the colored gradient instead of the plain appearance that they usually have.

Similar effects can be applied to iPhones using jailbreak tweaks, but it’s worth noting that because this add-on uses the MacDirtyCow & kfd exploits, it doesn’t require the use of a jailbreak. (It still works on jailbroken devices, however, as long as a supported firmware from iOS 15.0-16.6 beta 1 is being used).

Those interested in giving Gradient Passcode & Phone a try can download it for free from the Misaka app. If you’re not already using Misaka, then you can follow one of our tutorials below to install and begin using it:
