Our friends at Belkin are out with a new MagSafe-friendly bedside charging option for iPhones and Qi-enabled accessories this week, this time taking a flatter approach to the product’s design.
Belkin’s new BoostCharge Pro 2-in-1 AirPods and iPhone Charger provides a 15W magnetic MagSafe-compatible charging puck on the left side for your MagSafe-enabled iPhone, as well as a 5W fast wireless charging on the right side for wireless charging-enabled devices and accessories such as your AirPods or AirPods Pro.
The BoostCharge Pro 2-in-1 AirPods and iPhone charger comes in black or white. Moreover, the MagSafe charging puck is color-matched to the unit as opposed to being white as seen in most other MagSafe charging puck accessories.
In case you were wondering, the unit isn’t powered by a traditional barrel connector, but rather a USB-C connector. While you can use the power adapter provided by Belkin, the USB-C compatibility means you can use any USB-C power adapters and cables you might have laying around, which makes this option travel-friendly.
An intelligent LED light included on the product alerts you to charging status.
While Belkin’s stand-up chargers are better suited for Apple’s upcoming StandBy mode in iOS 17, this new charger is ideal for taking with you since it can pack flat in any bag and be quickly deployed on any hotel nightstand.
