BigSurCenter tweak updated to support rootless jailbreaks, brings a macOS style Control Center to iOS & iPadOS

One of the most popular jailbreak tweaks for Control Center that we ever showed our readers was BigSurCenter by iOS developer nicho1asdev. Now, two years later, the tweak has been updated to take advantage of the latest rootless jailbreaks for iOS & iPadOS 15 and 16.

BigSurCenter iOS 16 support.

In case you’re unfamiliar with BigSurCenter, the tweak brought a macOS Big Sur-inspired Control Center UI to pwned iPhones and iPads, resulting in a more aesthetically pleasing interface that offers the same basic capabilities as Control Center typically comes with right out of the box.

As we went over in our full review post, BugSurCenter is a highly customizable tweak. You can choose your own gestures, presentation speed, module arrangement, and much more from a dedicated preference pane in the Settings app. You can even hide stuff you don’t use that much to keep the interface on a diet.

BigSurCenter offers what we believe should have been the native Control Center UI on iPhones and iPads from the start, but unfortunately, Apple kept the interface dumbed down on its mobile devices, resulting in a not-so-wonderful user experience.

If you’re interested in trying BigSurCenter for yourself, then you can procure a copy from the Havoc repository for $2.99 via your favorite package manager app. The update is also free for all existing users who purchased the tweak for rootful jailbreaks previously.
