Sideload more than 3 apps on iOS 15 with a free Apple Developer account with NoFreeAppLimit15

If you use sideloading utilities such as AltStore or Sideloady in conjunction with a free Apple Developer account, then you will find yourself limited to sideloading only three apps at any given time.

Fortunately, iOS developer alias20 has released a free jailbreak tweak called NoFreeAppLimit15 that breaks this limit on jailbroken iOS & iPadOS 15 devices, allowing users to sideload as many apps as they want at a given time.

Notably, a jailbreak tweak called NoFreeAppLimit by iOS developer HAHALOSAH previously existed before NoFreeAppLimit15, however requests for the tweak to be made compatible with the recently-released rootless Dopamine jailbreak made this add-on relevant once more.

Your device will obviously need to be in a jailbroken state whenever you take advantage of NoFreeAppLimit15, since the patch only works when tweak injection is active. This means that you can’t sideload more than three apps with a free Apple Developer account if your device recently rebooted and you haven’t re-jailbroken it yet.

On the other hand, if you’ve already sideloaded more than three apps, you can continue to refresh those apps every seven days, even if you’re not in a jailbroken state, as long as they were already installed when the device was jailbroken with NoFreeAppLimit15 installed.

It’s also worth noting that most apps can be perma-signed on iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1 by way of TrollStore, so use of traditional sideloading utilities on devices jailbroken via Dopamine might not be the best option for most users. Still, older devices using the rootless bootstrap via palera1n on a version of iOS or iPadOS 15 not supported by TrollStore may find it more useful.

If you’d like to give NoFreeAppLimit15 a try, then you can download on your jailbroken device for free from alias20’s personal repository via your favorite package manager app. Anyone who isn’t already using alias20’s personal repository can add it to their package manager app by using the URL provided below:
