TapTapSlumber lets you put your iPhone to sleep with a double-tap

You can always use your iPhone’s sleep/wake button to lock it when you’re finished using it, but what if that button is broken or you want a flashy new way to lock your jailbroken device?

iPhone X Sleep Wake Button.

In either of the aforementioned scenarios, a new and free jailbreak tweak dubbed TapTapSlumber by iOS developer iGerman might be of interest to you.

After you install TapTapSlumber, you can double-tap on the Status Bar, the Lock Screen, or the Home Screen to lock your iPhone and put it to sleep. This has effectively the same effect as pressing your iPhone’s sleep/wake button.

The tweak is incredibly simple by nature, but useful in certain situations, such as where your sleep/wake button stops responding to presses or when you want to show someone your jailbreak and say, “hey, look what I can do.”

TapTapSlumber has been made especially for rootless jailbreaks on iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1 jailbreaks, so it should work just fine with the Fugu15 Max and XinaA15 jailbreaks and may also play nicely with palera1n on older, non-arm64e devices.

If you’re interested in giving the new TapTapSlumber tweak a try, then you can download it for free from iGerman’s personal repository via your favorite package manager app. Anyone who isn’t using iGerman’s repository yet can add it to their package manager of choice by using the URL provided below:
