Everybody throw your hands in the air and say yeah! (YEAH!) It’s the weekend again, and you know what that means: it’s time for another edition of our Apps of the Week roundup. This week we have some great picks for you, including an AI app you can talk to, a music player for kids, and a fun digital card maker. And as always, we’ve selected a cool new game for you to check out.
Oasis AI
I’m telling you now, get used to these AI-infused apps, this trend isn’t going away any time soon. I try to only point to the unique or useful ones, and I think this one might be both. Oasis AI lets you create ‘perfect writing’ in any format, just by talking. The AI transcribes your natural speech, then rewrites it as a professional email, blog post, college essay, text message, TikTok video script, and more. This differs from the standard “instruct AI to do this task” app, and it seems worth checking out.
Musikalia
This seems like a real neat app for those that have children. Musikalia is a music player that is easy to use for kids of all ages. You just add whatever songs you want from Apple Music, and they can be played from within the app by tapping on their cover image. Obviously, it does require an Apple Music subscription, but if you’ve been looking for a ‘sandboxed’ music app for your kids, this seems like it’s worth checking out.
CardGifty – birthday wish card
I know digital greeting cards kind of went out of style several years ago, but CardGifty is bringing them back baby! You can create your own gift cards using a variety of fun templates, videos, stickers, and songs, and there are options for every occasion — birthday, anniversary, wedding, etc. You can send a limited amount of greeting cards for free, but if you end up loving it, you can unlock unlimited greeting card privileges and new content for $5/month.
Neodori Forever
Reminiscent of classic 90’s titles like Top Gear and Pole Position, Neodori Forever brings you a simple racing game in all of its pixelated glory. It features 25+ unique unlockable cars, 11 different environments, day and night cycles, and it’s compatible with your favorite gamepad. Plus, the levels are randomly generated each time, so you’ll never play the same track twice.
