Satechi launches new color-matched Pro Slim Hub for latest USB-C MacBooks

Apple just last week announced its brand-new M2 Pro and M2 Max-equipped 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro notebooks, bringing more power than ever to on-the-go professionals, and what better accessory to complement one than one of Satechi’s new Pro Slim Hubs?

Satechi’s redesigned Pro Slim Hub offers an all-in-one adapter solution for all of your modem and legacy accessories as you cope with the USB-C-only peripheral ports on the latest MacBook Pros.

Available in Midnight, Space Gray, and Silver, Satechi’s Pro Slim Hub features a total of seven ports, including the following:

  • A full-function USB4 port
  • A 4K HDMI port
  • A USB-C data-only port
  • 2x USB-A data-only ports
  • SD Card reader
  • microSD Card reader

While the latest MacBook Pros already come equipped with an HDMI port and an SD Card reader already, the Pro Slim Hub notably expands the ports to include plugs for USB-A accessories and a way to plug microSD Cards into the computer without an SD Card adapter.

It’s also worth noting that the Pro Slim Hub works with other MacBooks that don’t support HDMI ports or SD Card readers. According to Satechi, the new Pro Slim Hub works with any 2017 or newer MacBook, whether it’s a MacBook Pro or a MacBook Air.

The retail price of Satechi’s Pro Slim Hub is $79.99 from the company’s website, but if you act now through February 3rd, then you can use the coupon code SLIM20 to save 20% off your purchase price, which brings the cost down to $63.99 before tax.

Satechi’s all-in-one hubs are among my favorite MacBook Pro accessories. In fact, I keep their previous-generation hub with my MacBook Pro at all times. With the upgrades found in the latest model, it’s only a matter of time before I pick one of those up too.
