ZAGG’s InvisibleShield Screen Protector brand is out with a new screen protector for iPhones this week called the InvisibleShield Glass VisionGuard Eco, and as the subtle hints in the name suggest, it’s a more eco-friendly screen protector.

According to ZAGG, the new Glass VisionGuard Eco is comprised of 30% recycled glass and comes packed in 100% recyclable packaging with plant-based inks and zero single-use plastics. Sustainability is a clear initiative here, as the company was awarded the Green Product Mark.
The new screen protector is compatible with Apple’s iPhone 13 and 14 lineups and comes standard with ZAGG’s patented VisionGuard technology to block up to 40% of harmful blue light in the 435-440nm range that contributes to headaches, eyestrain, and other unwanted eye-related ailments.
The Glass VisionGuard Eco will be available to purchase from ZAGG’s website for $49.99.
Expanding device repair guarantee plans
In addition to launching a new screen protector, ZAGG is expanding its screen repair guarantee plan that was originally announced in September alongside the launch of the InvisibleShield Glass XTR2 to the following product lines:
- Glass Elite VisionGuard for iPad family: 11-inch iPad Pro, 12.9-inch iPad Pro, iPad 10.9-inch 10th generation, iPad 10.2-inch 9th generation
- GlassFusion for Apple Watch family: Apple Watch Ultra, Apple Watch Series 6/7/8, and Apple Watch SE 40 and 44mm
- Glass Elite for Pixel 7
- Fusion for Pixel 7 Pro
Under this plan, the device being protected by the screen protector product described above will be eligible for a one-time repair of up to $250 if damaged while using the InvisibleShield product. The plan can be added to the purchase of an eligible screen protector for an additional $10 at the time of purchase.
Reimbursement is issued either via PayPal or ACH, but will only be honored if the screen protector is registered on ZAGG’s website within 30 days after purchase.
