iOS developer Soongyu Kwon is out this Thursday with an updated version of Mugunghwa, a popular system customization app for TrollStore users whether they’re jailbroken or not.
In version 3.0.2, which was announced early this morning via Twitter, we learn that Mugunghwa picks up the following improvements:
- Up to 1.75x faster theming
- An improved safety layer for stability
- System app theming using WebClips
Mugunghwa, which we originally showed our readers back in September, allows the end user to customize various aspects of the operating system, including:
- System app icons
- App notification badges
- Passcode number buttons
- And more…
Kwon hosts Mugunghwa on his GitHub page, which allows users to download an .ipa to be sideloaded and perma-signed with the TrollStore utility. TrollStore can be installed on jailbroken iOS 14.0-14.8.1 devices and non-jailbroken iOS 15.0-15.4.1 devices (including some iOS 15.5 betas).
Mugunghwa is one of two apps that can customize system resources in this way, with the other being TrollTools.
