Favorites Widget
Here’s a neat little utility app for those that have updated to iOS 16. It’s called Favorites Widget, and it takes advantage of the new firmware’s Lock Screen widget feature. You can customize it to call or text a contact, or open URLs and activate Shortcuts.
xTiles – notes, ideas, tasks
Note/brainstorming apps come in all different shapes and colors, and xTiles is proof of that. The app doesn’t resemble anything like the stock Notes app, and offers a place to save notes, voice recordings, photos, as well as both links and media from the web.
Pub Collector
Where are all my bar-crawlers at? Pub Collector is an app that will help you discover new bars and pubs around you. So whether you are traveling and want to find a good whole-in-the-wall or just want to try out a new place locally, this app is worth checking out.
Loose Nozzles
How could your eyes not be drawn to these graphics? Apparently the developer used his young son’s artwork to build this slapstick arcade game. It may look simplistic, but there are rocket upgrades, customizable skins and alternate play modes. Perfect for the weekend!
