Check out the official trailer for the upcoming Apple TV+ limited series ‘Five Days at Memorial’

Apple TV+ teased the upcoming limited series Five Days at Memorial back in June. But, with a release date slated for mid-August, the company is now ready to offer up a proper official trailer. Which gives us an even better look at the cast, and, most importantly, the story.

Apple picked up the limited series back in September of 2020. Since then, development has been going strong. And it was in March of last year that star Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel) was added to the cast to lead the charge. Things went a bit quiet ever since, only sparking back up with the release of the first teaser trailer last month.

Five Days at Memorial tells the story of a hospital under siege, battered by Hurricane Katrina. Resources were depleted, the water levels were rising, and after days of no rest, incredibly hard decisions had to be made. Even in the aftermath of the storm. Here’s the description Apple TV+ included today:

Based on actual events from Hurricane Katrina, Five Days at Memorial tells the story of the exhausted caregivers at a New Orleans hospital who were forced to make heart-wrenching decisions amidst the storm’s aftermath.

You can check out the official trailer above.

This trailer measures in at over two and a half minutes, which means we get plenty of new footage. Along with Farmiga, the upcoming limited series also stars Cherry Jones, Cornelius Smith Jr., Julie Ann Emery, Adepero Oduye, and Robert Pine.

Five Days at Memorial is set to premiere on Friday, August 12, 2022.
