Today, Belkin has launched a brand new accessory called the CONNECT Pro Thunderbolt 4 Dock. As you might imagine, it’s a docking station that’s designed to work with a plethora of other devices. It’s a Thunderbolt dock, as the name suggests, and offers up connection speeds up to 40Gb/s in total bandwidth. It supports fast charging, can support more than one display, and much, much more. What’s more, it’s perfectly compatible with not only Apple devices, but also Windows PCs.

There are 12 power, video, and data ports on the CONNECT Pro Thunderbolt 4 Dock. There’s two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one for upstream and one for downstream, a couple of different HDMI 2.0 ports, one USB-C port (with PD 3.0 and up to 90W charging), two USB 3.1 USB-A ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an SD card slot.
If you want to connect an 8K display, the CONNECT Pro Thunderbolt 4 Dock can handle that up to 30Hz. It can also support connecting a pair of 4K displays up to 60Hz, and if you have the right laptop model it can connect up to three external displays at the same time.
The new CONNECT Pro Thunderbolt 4 Dock is available right now, but it is not cheap. Belkin’s priced the accessory at $399.99. But it may be just the right device if you’re looking to power your workstation.
