Satechi unveils two new USB-4 hubs at CES 2022

With the first Apple silicon update to the 16-inch MacBook Pro, Apple gave fans what they wanted by bringing back memory card and HDMI ports, MagSafe charging and more. But not everything about that notebook refresh was perfect.

The machine’s HDMI port, for instance, doesn’t support features that are specific to HDMI 2.1. Or consider the memory card slot, which could be faster. Well, Satechi’s new hubs, unveiled at CES 2022, will help with that by adding ports that the new MacBook Pro doesn’t have, like USB-A ports, whilst providing upgraded HDMI with 8K resolution.

As a result, these new hubs are compatible with older USB and Thunderbolt implementations such as USB 3.2 and Thunderbolt 3. Read: How to manage settings for external displays on your Mac
