The Apple TV+ comedy “Acapulco” debuted on October 8, and now Apple has shared a video taking you behind the scenes of this new bilingual comedy series.

Behind the scenes of the Apple TV+ comedy series “Acapulco”
Told in both Spanish and English, the series takes place in 1984.
“Acapulco” stars Eugenio Derbez, who plays the present-day version of the main character, named Máximo Gallardo, whilst also providing narration for the series. The video, embedded above, features the cast and crew of “Acapulco” who take you behind the scenes to show how the pink paradise of Hotel Las Colinas was brought to life.

What’s “Acapulco” about?
As per the official description on the Apple TV+ Press website, “Acapulco” tells the story of twenty-something Máximo Gallardo, played by Enrique Arrizon, whose dream comes true when he gets the job of a lifetime as a cabana boy at “the hottest resort in Acapulco”.

But soon thereafter, Gallardo realizes that his job is far more complicated than he ever imagined. In order to succeed, he must learn to navigate a demanding clientele, a mercurial mentor and a complicated home life, all without losing his way to shortcuts or temptations.
The ensemble cast starring alongside Derbez includes Enrique Arrizon, Fernando Carsa, Damián Alcázar, Camila Perez, Chord Overstreet, Vanessa Bauche, Regina Reynoso, Raphael Alejandro, Jessica Collins, Rafael Cebrián, Regina Orozco and Carlos Corona.
