iFixit goes under the hood in initial iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro teardown

iFixit usually has a pretty speedy turnaround time for teardowns after a new product launches. That’s certainly the case with iPhones, as there is generally a lot of interest in that sort of thing. If for no other reason than to see the latest repairability scores. This year isn’t any different, and the repair crew offered up an initial look at what’s under the hood for both the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro.

The fine folks over at iFixit have been doing live teardowns of new products at launch for quite some time now. This year’s effort for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro has already wrapped up, but it’s certainly still worth a watch. Especially since the full write-up for the new teardowns won’t be available until sometime later this month. Next week, at the earliest.

The quick teardown, which is just an initial look at what’s under the hood for both models, is still pretty in-depth all things considered. It’s a great way to see, from a group of professionals, how it all comes . . . apart. Plus, you get some nice looks inside, too. Here’s the teardown:

There’s plenty to watch, with the video coming in at an hour in length. In that time, you’ll get a look at the new batteries Apple has installed in the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, which are bigger across the board. Plus, you’ll get to see the brand new camera systems in both, and quite a bit more.

As soon as the crew at iFixit have their full teardown up and running, we’ll be sure to let you know.
