Apple TV+ comedy offering is about to grow deeper
Billed as a dark comedy series, this upcoming new project for Apple TV+ is reportedly adapted from a Flemish original from 2012, titled “Clan,” Variety reports.
The untitled comedy follows the lives of the Garvey sisters, who are bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another.
Horgan, who created “Catastrophe,” will join forces with Apple TV+ to co-write, star and executive produce ten episodes of the inaugural first season of this yet-to-be-titled show.
This isn’t Horgan’s first-look deal with Apple TV+.
As reported in December 2019, Apple TV+ and Horgan signed an exclusive, first-look deal spanning multiple years after her previous multi-year signing with Amazon had come to an end.
