Expanding Apple Pay

The company is also working to make Apple Pay available in additional apps by permitting iOS apps ported over to the Mac via Apple’s Catalyst system to implement Apple Pay support. And based on the iOS 14 code, it seems that we will soon be able to pay our utility bills with Apple Pay simply by scanning a QR and tradition bar code with the iPhone camera.

Apple also has interesting Apple Card promotions running.

Apple Card promotions

Apple Card promotions are noteworthy as well. For instance, three percent Daily Cash for the Apple Card holders is now available for any purchases made at Exxon and Mobil gas stations. Moreover, new Apple Card holders were treated to a cool $50 Daily Cash bonus for their Apple Services purchase last month.

The Apple Card’s Daily Cash feature has a few different tiers of cash back offerings.

One percent is provided for all transactions using the Apple Card and two percent is available for all transactions using Apple Pay with the Apple Card. Three percent Daily Cash is only available at select retailers.

Apple Card holders who have been affected by the coronavirus can defer their June payment without incurring any interest charges. And all customers are now able to use Apple’s excellent new web interface for Apple Card to pay their bill and more.
