Apple seeds first beta of macOS Catalina 10.15.6 to developers

As Apple updates iOS with important security updates, Apple is also seeding the next update for macOS Catalina to developers.

Apple on Monday seeded the first beta of macOS Catalina 10.15.6 to developers. This is just one week after releasing macOS Catalina 10.5.5, and as the version number suggests this is probably a minor update in the grand scheme of things. The new beta is available for registered developers.

As far as what’s new in this beta, that remains to be seen. It’s likely that it will not include any major forward facing features for end users. It will likely focus on behind-the-scenes improvements and other changes, including security updates. However, if there are any additional features added to the mix we will update this post accordingly.

How has your experience been with macOS Catalina 10.15.5 so far? Are you happy about the new battery health management feature Apple included with the desktop software? Let us know in the comments.
