Apple has a new website at authors.apple.com that is packed to the gills with useful resources aimed at writers looking to publish their content on the Apple Books platform.
The goal of the website is providing useful information and resources for people who would like to write, publish, market and sell their e-books and audiobooks on the Apple Books service. The sections available via the website’s navigation bar at the top include Write, Prepare, Publish, Market, Sales and Reporting, Audiobooks and Resources.
The website covers using both first and third-party software to create, optimize, package, publish and track content on Apple Books, including Apple’s Pages and iBooks Author apps, as well as word-processing apps Scrivener and Microsoft Word.
It’s basically a one-stop shop for everyone interested in publishing their warez on Apple Books, guiding them through every step, from structuring stories to packaging digital books and selling them in the Apple Books store, which users can access on their iPhone, iPad and Mac.
“Even established authors will find valuable resources on how to grow sales and track performance,” says Apple. Visit the Apple Books for Authors website for further information.
