Apple launches ‘Today at Apple at Home’ for creative sessions without leaving the house

The Today at Apple sessions are popular, but unfortunately the company has shut them down (along with its retail stores) all across the globe.

So in a move that probably fits snugly in the “better late than never” category, Apple has decided to bring them back — in your home. Apple on Friday officially launched the “Today at Apple at Home” initiative, which will see creative pros broadcasting from select Apple Stores from around the globe showcasing “quick and fun projects they put together in their homes”.

At the time of publication, Apple has three different creative sessions published on the new page dedicated to the initiative. I’ve broken down each below, but you’ll need to head over to Apple’s website to watch the accompanying videos.

Capture striking photography with iPhone

Follow along with Cameron from Apple Orchard Road in Singapore to learn angles and edits that will help you capture artful photos featuring your home.

Draw playful portraits with iPad

Harriet from Apple Regent Street in London shows you how to add doodles, color, and your own handwriting to turn a quick photo into a unique portrait.

Shoot photos full of personality with iPhone

Join Adrian from Apple Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica as he shows you how to dig into the Camera app on iPhone to capture your personality in self-portraits.

It’s likely that we will see additional creative sessions added to the initial trio in the near future. If/when that happens I’ll update this post accordingly.
