Apple makes a handful of Apple TV+ shows free to stream for a limited time

Following on the heels of streaming services like HBO, Apple has decided to make it possible for folks to watch some Apple TV+ content for free, without requiring a subscription.

Apple has decided to make it possible for folks to watch some of its Apple TV+ content library free of charge. The offer is available now in the United States, and it will expand to all regions where Apple TV+ is available by Saturday, April 11. This is obviously a limited time offer, in light of the global coronavirus pandemic, but it’s a nice way to offer up more content for folks stuck at home.

Here’s what you can watch for free:

  • Dickinson
  • Little America
  • Servant
  • Snoopy in Space
  • Ghostwriter
  • Helpsters
  • For All Mankind
  • The Elephant Queen

You’ll notice that most of the brand new content that just launched on the streaming service isn’t available to stream for free. So you won’t be able to get a glimpse of Amazing Stories or Home Before Dark, for instance. The Morning Show isn’t even available in this offer. Lucky for those who do take advantage of this offer they can watch Little America and For All Mankind, because these are pretty great.

Plus, Snoopy in Space, Ghostwriter, and Helpsters is great for the whole family.

Apple is also promoting the free content made available by HBO, as well as “total access” to the EPIX channel (which is available via Apple Channels).

If you aren’t subscribed to Apple TV+, do you plan on checking out these shows (and documentary) for free while you can?
