Codes strings uncovered from the golden master build of iOS 13.4 that was seeded to testers Wednesday ahead of March 24 launch indicate that all of the new iPad Pro models that were unveiled yesterday most likely come equipped with six gigabytes of RAM.
9to5Mac was able to confirm that all models of the new iPad Pro have 6GB of RAM:
Based on code from the latest iOS 13.4 build, we can say that all fourth generation iPad Pro models are equipped with 6GB of RAM.
More RAM = smoother multitasking, among other things.
If true, this would be great news for power users who previously had to opt for the priciest 1TB model which came with 6GB of RAM vs. 4GB of RAM on all the other models. This is not a definitive confirmation that the 2020 iPad Pros indeed have six gigabytes of RAM until someone runs the Geekbench benchmark on the machine or iFixit tears down the device.
As is its won’t, Apple does not divulge the amount of RAM in iOS devices on its website nor is this tidbit found in the official technical specification for the new tablets.

What we also have noticed on iOS 13.4 code is that the fourth-generation iPad Pro features the ultra-wideband U1 chip, which was first introduced last year with the iPhone 11. For some reason, Apple has not mentioned it at all, which makes us question whether related features are enabled on the new iPad Pro or if they’re planning to do so with a future software update.
The new iPad Pro runs the Apple A12Z Bionic chip that sports eight CPU cores and eight GPU cores versus seven GPU cores in the A12X chip in the previous-generation models.
