This edition of our Apps of the Week roundup features an AI-infused video editor, an app for organizing your downtime, and a password manager with a twist. And as always, we’ve selected two new games for you to check out.
Trash
Trash is a video editing app that does most of the work for you with the help of AI. Just throw a few clips into ‘Trash,’ and it will edit them together using tech it calls “cinema science.” It finds your best moments, assembles them together, and even adds a soundtrack to make you look like a pro. Then you can tweak clip and share it with the Trash community and beyond.
Sofa
Organize your entertainment/downtime with Sofa. The app enables you to create lists of books, movies, TV shows, podcasts, music and even video games. It’s more organized than any notes app with support for album artwork, grouping and synopses, and it tracks your history so you can quickly see what you’ve read, watched and listened to.
Pinc
Here’s an interesting take on the whole password manager thing. Pinc is an anonymous password manager for iOS that was specifically designed for storing short passwords and pin codes. Your passwords are stored locally, not on third party servers, and are protected using custom patterns. The app supports Touch and Face ID, iCloud, and much more.
Kharon 108
In Greek mythology, Kharon is the ferryman of Hades who carries souls of the newly deceased across the rivers Styx and Acheron that divided the world of the living from the world of the dead. In this minimalistic title of the same name, you must also collect souls as you make your way through 108 puzzles that get progressively tougher as you go.
Might & Magic: Chess Royale
Looking for something a little more involved? Check out M&M’s Chess Royale. it’s the first massive real-time 100 player auto battler, which sees 100 players clash on a real-time battlefield. This game gives you everything from tactical management, to collectible heroes & units, upgradable items, and much more.
