Caviar’s new Cyberphone mod is a mashup of Tesla’s Cybertruck with the latest iPhone 11 Pro

Caviar, a company known for creating ridiculously luxurious replacement casings for Apple’s smartphones, is out today with its latest creation which looks like a cross between Tesla’s upcoming Cybertruck and the latest iPhone 11 Pro models.

First spotted by 9to5Mac’s Michael Potuck, the Cyberphone includes a foldable front cover that resembles the truck bed and doubles as a stand for your iPhone or a screen protector.

According to Caviar:

The titanium body of the smartphone is protected all round from any outer mechanical impact: the back cover, sides and even the screen are hidden under metal plates. At that, the total protection of the body does not violate, but even enhances the smartphone’s functionality: now, if you wish to use your favorite apps with comfort or have video calls, the folding titanium screen protection is transformed into a comfortable holder.

The design of the body is inspired by the geometry of Tesla Cybertruck. At the same time, it is improved aesthetically. Accurate lines are explained not only by the functionality, but also create a visual component nice to look at.

The price is unlisted.

Would-be buyers are instructed to reach out to Caviar via a “Contact us for price” link. The Russian company is doing a test production run of 99 units. Given scarce availability of the Cyberphone and its exclusiveness, the price is probably an eye-watering six-digit figure.

Caviar is behind other modifications that turn Apple gadgets into bling and glam. Their most expensive projects are often adopted by rappers and other celebrities. One of their most affordable projects is a $590 mod that gives the AirPods a black or red appearance.

Caviar’s custom-painted AirPods retail for $590.

Popular YouTuber MKBHD recently took a closer look at Caviar’s $100K gold and diamond-plated iPhone 11 Pro. Harris Craycraft, our own video editor, a little more than a year ago went hands-on with Caviar’s $4,200 solar-powered iPhone X.

How do you like Caviar’s latest creation? Speaking of which, how about a rugged iPhone?
