Sometimes we get rid of things that we end up needing later. Whether it’s a text message, email, or note. And while you can easily recover deleted notes on your iPhone or iPad, maybe you’re using iCloud.com.
You can recover deleted notes on iCloud.com a couple of different ways and we’ll show you how.
Recover deleted notes from the folder
Once you land on iCloud.com and sign in, click Notes.
1) On the left under iCloud Notes, choose Recently Deleted.
2) Select the note you want to get back and click Recover at the top.
The note will be removed from the Recently Deleted folder and places into the Notes folder. From there, you can move it to its original location if you like.
Recover deleted notes with drag and drop
1) On the left under iCloud Notes, choose Recently Deleted.
2) Select the note you want to get back, drag it to the folder you want it, and drop it in.
By using the drag-and-drop action, you can not only recover your note, but put it exactly where you want it.
Note: Just like on iOS and Mac, deleted notes are available in the Recently Deleted folder for 30 days. After that, they’re gone for good.
