This edition of our Apps of the Week roundup includes a note-taking app with an email twist, an app for finding local pickup games and a digital weight training tool. And as always, we’ve selected two great new games for you to check out.
Email Me
Email Me is the easiest and fastest way to email something to yourself, so you don’t forget it. You can send notes, images and even your clipboard content to your email in one tap. The app supports multiple email addresses, Today Widgets and App Extensions, and yes it has an Apple Watch app with complication.
Ezi
Ezi is a new way to create and find pickup games. Whether you’re into soccer, basketball, football or tennis, this app can help you find a pickup game in your area. It uses an advanced algorithm to create “Smart Events” and provide you with a curated list of events in your area based on your interests.
Strongr
Keeping your weight training on track should be say and simple, and it can be with Strongr. The app is an advanced weight training tool that has been carefully designed for ease of use—helping everyone from intermediate to advanced athletes maximize their performance. Free without artificial restrictions.
Slapstick Fighter
Looking for a fun, arcade-like game you can pick up and play anytime? Check out Slapstick Fighter. It’s a physics-based fighting game with same-device multiplayer, two-button controls and a ton of moves to master. There’s an IAP to remove ads, but otherwise the game is pretty straightforward.
Idle Food Truck Tycoon
I know, I know, another ‘Tycoon’ game. But who doesn’t like food trucks? And who wouldn’t want to cook food for customers to earn money, compete in cooking contests and even roast other chefs? You can do all of that and more in Idle Food Truck Tycoon. Yes it’s a freemium title, but it might also be fun.
