Apple releases tvOS 12.4

Following updates to iOS and watchOS, Apple is also releasing an update to tvOS.

Apple has released tvOS 12.4 to the public on Monday. It is a minor update in scale, not adding any major forward facing features to the mix. It does primarily focus on behind-the-scenes fixes and improvements, and should squash any lingering bugs in the set-top box’s software.

The latest software update for the fourth- and fifth-generation Apple TV is available as a free download. Owners can navigate to System –> Software Update. Owners can also turn on automatic updates to have the latest software automatically installed on their device as well.

While no new features were discovered in the beta seeds of tvOS 12.4, it is possible that Apple added some with the public launch. If that is the case, we will update this post accordingly with any discoveries made.
