Location Wallpaper Maker for iPhone

Everyone likes a different style of wallpaper for their iPhone. Some like vibrant colors, some like beach photography, and some like cartoon scenes, just to name a few.

But, if you want something out of the ordinary that also has meaning, then how about a wallpaper based on your current location, a favorite you’ve visited, or a spot you’d like to see?

If this sounds like you, then here’s how to create an awesome iPhone wallpaper based on location.

Create a wallpaper of a city map

1) Download the Atlas Wallpaper app on your iPhone and open it.

2) Enter the name of the city whose map wallpaper you want to create.

You can also tap the location pointer icon from the top and allow the app access to your location. After that, it will show the map for your location.

3) Once you have decided on the city or location, tap the color wheel icon and pick a desired style. You can even tap More Styles to create a custom appearance.

4) Next, use the familiar two-finger pinch to zoom in or out on the map, or use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons.

5) You can also tap the 3D button to change how the map looks.

Note that the 3D feature seems like an in-app purchase, but at the time of writing this, the price was set to zero. So, you can simply authenticate and get this feature for free.

6) Once everything is to your liking, tap Save Wallpaper from the top.

7) Now, select if you’d like the wallpaper for your iPhone, Apple Watch, or computer. Your map wallpaper will be saved to the Photos app.
