Apple creates new ‘Orchard’ program to develop marketing talent


Apple has created a new marketing apprenticeship program called ‘Orchard,’ reports MacRumors. The site discovered an intriguing landing page, tweeted out by a number of Apple employees, that leads to the Jobs section of Apple’s website.

The Orchard is described as an “innovative, creative program” in the Marketing Communications group at Apple. Its mission is to bring together a talented and diverse group of up-and-coming creatives to grow and develop with professionals.

The moment is now. Throw everything you know out the window. All in. Head first. Join the Orchard. If you’re lucky enough to make the cut, expect to surround yourself with like-minded souls who are as terrified and excited as you are. Be part of a hand-picked team with a plethora of talent. Kick ass together. Panic together. Grow together. Work alongside the brains of all the iconic work you love from Apple. Watch and learn. Trust your gut. Challenge our ways. Specifically Apple is looking for creative thinkers with skills in writing, art direction, design and strategic planning. Selected applicants will receive an offer for a 6-month engagement in Cupertino with competitive salary and a relocation package.
