The official Apple Watch User Guide is now available for download on the iBooks Store. Content-wise, the free electronic book is the same as the online version that Apple published yesterday on its website, it’s just optimized for the iBooks app for the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Mac.

As you can see for yourself, the guide covers both hardware and software features of the Apple Watch and is a treasure trove of how-tos and tips and tricks.
In a Get Started section, you get a quick overview of the Watch, from instructions on pairing the device with your iPhone and setting it up to sending messages to using the Workout app and more.
A Basics section covers the things you’ll probably use most. Other sections provide a breakdown of specific features like Notifications and Glances, fitness and health functions as well as the myriad of stock apps.
If you’d rather read this book online, just point your mobile or desktop browser at help.apple.com/watch/. The online guide automatically adjusts to your screen size. I’m liking that the online guide features a great, lightweight and elegant design.
Those concerned about the recency of information in a downloadable book needn’t worry as iBooks pushes content updates to the books you’ve purchased. So no matter which version you pick — the online or the iBooks Store one — you’ll always have access to up-to-date information.
