Apple has this afternoon pushed out a new version of its iTunes app, bringing the music management software to version 11.3.1. The update is more of a maintenance release, and doesn’t include any major new features or changes.
It does however, offer up a fix for a persistent problem where subscribed podcasts may have stopped updating with new episodes, as well as an issue where iTunes would become unresponsive while browsing through podcast episodes…
Back in July, Apple released iTunes 11.3 with support for its new iTunes Extras feature, which offer up behind-the-scenes videos, director’s commentary, deleted scenes and other extras. It’s also currently working on a redesigned iTunes 12.
Folks looking to grab the most current version of iTunes can find it either via the ‘Updates’ tab in their Mac App Store, or this direct link on our Downloads page.
